Nancy was one of the Tall Oaks survivors during the Tall Oaks bioterror incident. She and her boyfriend Peter along with a Rookie cop are saved by Leon S. Kennedy and Helena Harper at a gas station. They later sought shelter inside of a gunshop, where they defended it from the undead. In the midst of the fight, Peter's gun jams and he forcefully steals his girlfriend's firearm from her and deserts the group. He is shortly afterward killed by a Bloodshot outside of the gunshop.

The group eventually get to the upstairs of the gun shop, where they meet the owner and a Japanese man, where they all hold off for a bus to come to take them all to Tall Oaks Cathedral, and to safety. After getting pushed back all the way to the roof, the survivors hold off till the bus comes, where they all make it downstairs and into the bus. The bus becomes stalled by a Whopper, but they eventually make it out of the city alive, with the exception of the gun store owner and the Japanese man, who were killed in the process.

She and the police officer are killed shortly after getting dragged out of the bus by zombies, after the bus crashes near a cliff edge on the way to Tall Oaks Cathedral.

Further notes

  • A woman in the Cathedral mentions Nancy, while praying. She asks "God to watch out for her, because she's surviving with her boyfriend, and her boyfriend doesn't know how to treat her right." The woman's relation to Nancy is unclear.
  • It is interesting to note that both Nancy and the Police officer pay a homage to Leon and Claire during their fight for survival back in Raccoon City. The officer whom states that it was his first day on the job (meaning he was a rookie cop like Leon), whilst the Nancy was a typical female civilian attempting to survive the outbreak (Claire's case). Unfortunately both of them do not survive the outbreak.
