Rather than attempt to improve on earlier Tyrants, the parasite route was chosen in order to enhance intelligence. The "Pursuer" was born form this project. The project takes its name from the Greek goddess of revenge.

寄生生命体・NE-α型（通称：ネメシス）を使った新型B.O.W.(生物兵器)開発計画の総称。
タイラントそのものを改良するのではなく、新開発の寄生生命体を投与することで、知能向上を図った。これにより「追跡者」は誕生した。「ネメシス」とは「復讐の女神」の意。
