"Nicholai's betrayal" is a cutscene in Resident Evil 3 (2020).
Plot
As Mikhail Viktor leads some survivors in the subway train and Jill Valentine finally made activated the substation's power source, Mikhail and Nikolai Zinoviev discussed about how the zombies in the city managed to outnumber and overwhelm their troops. Shortly after awhile, the Pursuer infiltrates the train, killing most of the survivors, Nikolai soon reveals his betrayal by locking up both Jill and Mikhail in the train.
Watching Mikhail desperately shooting the pursuer, only to get impaled by its tentacles. Mikhail does one last ditch effort to prevent it from going further by committing suicide via detonating an explosive, causing the train to be derailed and crash at the end.
