Nightmare Mode is a rare difficulty choice in a video game, along with Easy, Normal, and on some games - Very Hard. In Resident Evil, is only in the pc version of Resident Evil 2 and Outbreak File 2 where iIt can be purchased for 1000points after finishing every Level in Very Hard mode. In this mode, Enemies will inflict up to twice of dammage and recovery items will only heal the player 75%, ammo and melee items structural points will be decreased. However in exchange, the players will recieve more points for finishing the scenarios.
