The Obedience Tablet was one of three tablets enscribed with James Marcus's fundamental beliefs for the Umbrella Corporation. When the Obedience Tablet, Unity Tablet and Discipline Tablet were set in the telescope in the Training Facility Observatory, they opened the path to the Church.
