Oliver was a victim of Lucas Baker, who was trapped in the attic and then left to die, presumably by dehydration and starvation. According to Lucas, he was a school bully that often made fun of him due to the discovery of his mental abnormalities from the local hospital. Oliver was then later "invited" to Lucas' non-existent "birthday party", which he used as a ruse to lock him up.
