Piers Nivans is the thirtieth chapter in the Resident Evil: The Marhawa Desire manga series. It was first published in Weekly Shōnen Champion Extra's 2013 series, but was later on re-published in the fourth tankōbon volume on May 8.
Plot[]
By radio, Piers Nivans reports in that the Gambit has been wrecked, but he is told that there is a secret passage to a heliport that will get them all away from Marhawa School. As Nivans and Merah Biji get ready to rendezvous with Cpt. Chris Redfield and Ricky Tozawa, the Gambit begins to reverse, indicating Bindi Bergara is still alive. Having foreseen such a possibility, Nivans detonates some C4 left in the car. Lifting up his sniper rifle, Nivans aims straight for Bergara's face while her body is engulfed in flames. Leaving her behind as she falls to the ground, Nivans and Biji head out to find the others.
The mysterious hooded woman reveals herself when the church is empty, having been watching the fight for some time. She is disappointed that Bergara didn't put up as much of a fight as she had hoped, and gloats about her taking good care of Nanan Yoshihara when Bergara dies. She swings out of the church with her hookshot as Bergara screams in anger.
With no food left, the Zombies have all begun grouping together outside, keeping the two groups from joining up. Cpt. Redfield and Tozawa enter the basement in search of its control room. They are met by Yoshihara herself.
