Victim of Desire is the thirty-fourth chapter in the Resident Evil: The Marhawa Desire manga series. It was first published in Weekly Shōnen Champion Extra's 2013 series, but was later on re-published in the fifth tankōbon volume.
Plot[]
Cpt. Chris Redfield is attacked once more by Nanan Yoshihara, but succeeds in slicing off yet another tentacle. He has had more success using his knife than shooting at her, but this is still too slow. Piers Nivans radios in to report he and Merah Biji have made it to the basement entrance. Thinking back to her origins, Cpt. Redfield sees Yoshihara as yet another victim of bioterrorism, even if she did spread the infection. He continues cutting off her tentacles until he is able to sever her head and chest from the rest of her body, killing her once and for all. Tozawa watches everything on the security feed.
Nivans and Biji are running down the basement, but are yet to rendezvous with with Cpt. Redfield. The door behind them bursts open, not by the Zombies, but by Bindi Bergara, who has survived being set alight earlier. Cpt. Redfield begins firing at Bergara to give his comrades time to flee, taking out some of her hooks.
