PlotEdit

Let out of the Marhawa School's infirmary, Bindi Bergara heads over to the ruined clubhouse to see what is left. She finds Alisa Lin's locket in the debris. From a hill, a woman in a raincoat keeps watch, but disappears as Bergara turns. Ricky Tozawa arrives with a bouquet of flowers to lay where Lin died. He tries to cover up his grief with a joke about how the school made sure there was a shopping mall and florist, but when asked if the locket was indeed Lin's, he becomes sombre again and confirms it. He is finally willing to talk to Bergara and tell her the truth.

In Mother Gracia's office, Dr. Doug Wright takes part in another meeting. Though he refuses to work for her and her goals, he will continue to investigate the biohazard as promised. Mother Gracia pleads he finish his research soon, looking over photographs. Both Dr. Wright and Tozawa simultaneously notice men in work uniforms clustering around a doorway, which Bergara explains is a routine monthly inspection of the underground. Bergara insists on helping the investigation, and is overheard by Dr. Wright who is looking out a nearby window.

Tozawa races back into his room, where he is chastised by Dr. Wright for talking about the outbreak. Tozawa insists he had to tell Bergara the truth as she had seen too much, but quickly realises this now puts her at a greater risk of danger by helping them.

Back outside, the school administrator heads underground to check on the workers' progress, irritated by their lack of punctuality. He barges in to find they have become Zombies. Much later, Tozawa and Dr. Wright are called out to investigate the area, learning there are five Zombies inside - the maintenance workers. Asked what happened to the administrator, Ray Hsu - the school's senior instructor - explains he is alive but in a critical condition. Dr. Wright, Tozawa, Hsu and security guard Tahir Kapoor enter the underground. Provided by weapons on the orders of Mother Gracia, they are respectively armed with an axe, a stun gun, a sword and a mallet, respectively.
