The "Piece of the Holy Beast, Serpent" is a key item in Resident Evil 4. It appears later in the game, on Chapter 5-3.[1]
Purpose[]
Each of the three pieces are to be put into this wall.
It is one of the three insignias needed to open the gate at the end of the Ruins in Chapter 5-3. It is the final key obtained by Leon, after obtaining Piece of the Holy Beast, Panther and Piece of the Holy Beast, Eagle.
Location[]
It is held by Jack Krauser himself, which he claimed was to ensure Leon was on a "very tight leash" regarding finding the other mosaics, and he drops it upon defeat.
