Bui Kichwa are small spider-like creatures that you come across in Resident Evil 5.

The Bui Kichwa are matured Las Plagas parasites. As seen in old concept arts, the developers originally intended for these creatures to burst out of a Majini's body, similar to the Cephalo, Kipepeo and Duvalia.
In the final game however, they are only seen moving about independently without a host body.
Much like the other Las Plagas parasites, they can be killed instantly with a Flash Grenade.
They have just one single attack which involves them leaping onto the victim and wrapping their legs around them, draining their health. Surprisingly, this doesn't cause very much damage, especially if the player is wearing a melee vest. The real danger from Bui Kichwa is that while one is latched onto a character, they become completely defenseless and move very slowly, putting them in great danger from other enemies. In addition, there is no button combo that can remove a Bui Kichwa from the character, the only ways to get one off are to wait until it lets go by itself or to have your partner slash it with a knife.
Strategies
They are best dealt with by using flash grenades as they are killed immediately, disposing of them in this matter will get you the achievement/trophy "Go into the Light".
When one is rearing, and about to attack, and it isn't possible to shoot it (maybe needing to reload), a simple strafe will make sure the Bui Kichwa miss completely, it does not compensate for your movement at all when it is about to lunge.
Bui Kichwa are Infected cards in the Resident Evil DBG. They are the weakest Infected in the base set, and alongside the Lurker card from Alliance are the weakest Infected cards in the entire game. At 10 Health and only 10 damage they aren't very intimidating, and any weapon in the game can kill them instantly without bonuses (with the exception of the Knife). Despite the addition of "Las Plagas" type Infected and Flash Grenades in Alliance, the instant kill effect does not apply to them since they aren't technically denoted as a "Las Plagas" creature. This isn't an entirely big deal since the Flash Grenade's secondary effect would simply stun it and send it away. It is only worth 1 Decoration.
