Progenitor Virus is a mutagenic virus named in the German version of Biohazard The Umbrella Chronicles SIDE A.
History
The Progenitor Virus was discovered in the 1960s by Dr. James Marcus while researching protozoic life. It was found to react very well to the replicated atmosphere of ancient Earth.[1]
Further notes
In the official German translation, it is instead referred to as the "Ur-Virus".
