The pump room is where the water pressure can be checked when supplying the subway's water, from the restroom sinks to the sprinkler system. During the outbreak, the pipe has been ruptured, flooding the room and the B2F passage.

Stopping the fire at the platform is essential to beating "Underbelly", and the player therefore must repair the pipe. A handled crank must be used on the terminal on the raised area to turn off the water, allowing the player to use duct tape to repair the pipe. When it is repaired, the water must be restarted to get the sprinklers working.
