Quick Shots can only be used by regular characters with all weapons except the grenades, Remote Bombs, Grenade Launcher and Rocket Launcher, additionally, it can't be used by creatures in Agent Hunt.
Quick Shots can only be used by the seven protagonists of RE6 and not the enemies available in Agent Hunt. Despite its name, the quick shot can be used with non-firearms. The Combat Knife, Sherry Birkin's Stun Rod, and Jake Muller's hand-to-hand combat all have unique quick shot animations. Some weapons, such as Ada Wong's Crossbow, will reload automatically after a quick shot.

Performed by pressing both triggers to "aim" and "fire" simultaneously, quick shots will make the character home in on the nearest enemy and attack with their currently equipped weapon. These attacks usually have a higher chance of a stun and/or knocking down enemies, as well as making close by enemies flinch regardless if they were targeted. This consumes one bar of the combat gauge and it cannot be performed if the gauge is depleted. Most quick shots leave the characters in a brief recovery state where they cannot move or continue shooting, leaving them open for attacks.

*The Picador, Nine-Oh-Nine (909), Shotgun, Assault Shotgun, all three sniper rifles and both magnums all share a standard attack involving firing one bullet.
Each character has one unique weapon that the others don't, and so they're given unique quick shot animations to accentuate a character's proficency with that weapon.

* The Ammo Box 50, Assault Rifle for Special Tactics, and Assault Rifle RN will fire three bullets.
* Leon has the ability to fire the Wing Shooter up to five times in succession and consuming two bars of stamina when dual-wielding the weapon. He targets multiple enemies and shoots each of them, with the last shot being delivered from both of his Handgun and also knocking the enemy back.

* The Wing Shooter in single mode uses the standard quick shot. In duel wield mode, the player can fire up to five times in succession and only consume two bars of stamina. He switches targets for each shot, with the last shot being delivered from both of his Handgun and also knocking the enemy back.
* When Helena is equipped with the Hydra, she is able to perform evasive movements three times while firing the weapon and immediately reloading it after the final shot. Her quick shot movements can change depending on the situation.

* Hydra: The character performs evasive movements three times while firing the weapon and immediately reloading it after the final shot. Her quick shot movements can change depending on the enemy's position.
* Chris is able to swing his Combat Knife two times in a succession towards an enemy. When hit by either one of the swings, the enemy will be stunned, leaving them vulnerable to a melee attack.

  +
* MP-AF & Triple Shot: One bullet in single fire mode, three fired horizontally in burst mode.
* Jake can perform up to four melee animations by doing a quick shot when hand-to-hand is equipped, it depletes two bars of the combat gauge.

  +
* Bear Commander: Three shots in fire mode. Will fire a grenade in grenade launcher mode, unlike the regular Grenade Launcher which doesn't have a quick shot attack.
* When Sherry uses the quick shot with her Stun Rod equipped, she lunges forward and does a quick spin, immediately stunning an enemy if hit, making him vunerable for a melee attack or a charged Stun Rod attack.

  +
* Survival Knife: Horizontal swing while moving forward.
* Ada can perform a back flip if she uses a quick shot with her Crossbow equipped, she then automatically reloads the weapon.

* Combat Knife: two swings in a succession towards an enemy. When hit by either one of the swings, the enemy will be stunned.
* Piers is the only character that doesn't have a unique animation when performing a quick shot with his exclusive weapon, the Anti-Materiel Rifle. It's very similar to the Sniper Rifle's animation, although the delay is greater when using the Anti-Materiel Rifle.

  +
* Hand-to-hand: Jake will dash forward a short distance and deliver an upper palm attack. Pressing the attack button multiple times will make him continue a combo, if he is targeting a flying enemy such as a Noga-Let, or an enemy on the ground, Jake will perform a backflip kick in the air.
* In the additional modes, many characters are able to use the exclusive weapons of other characters, this is the only time when they're able to perform these exclusive animations.

  +
* Stun Rod: Sherry will lunge forward and do a quick spin attack. Usually stuns the enemy if hit.
  +
* Crossbow: the character will perform a back flip and then automatically reloads.
  +
* All magnums will shoot one bullet towards the nearest enemy, against lesser enemies it will send them flying back instead of opening them up for a melee attack.

Overview

Quick Shots can only be used by regular characters with all weapons except the grenades, Remote Bombs, Grenade Launcher and Rocket Launcher, additionally, it can't be used by creatures in Agent Hunt.

Aesthetic wise, most characters' unique weapons in the campaign mode have unique quick shot animations to accentuate their character. However, the attacks are purely based on the weapon, as other characters can use the same animations from those weapons in the Extra Content modes.
