The Raccoon City Police Department was Raccoon City, Pennsylvania's primary law enforcement organization, with the Special Tactics and Rescue Service providing support in 1998. Their main building was originally the city hall, which became a library before the police department purchased it in the early 1990s. It was undergoing final refurbishments when the viral outbreak took place.[1]
