The riot was due to the t-viral outbreak when a single zombie rampaged across the stadium, turning it into a bloodbath ending with several people being sent to the Raccoon General Hospital in critical conditions.
In the English version of the "Outbreak" opening, the name of their competing team is given as the "Old Court Thunders", though this is not present in the original script.
