Raid Mode, is an action-oriented minigame featured in Resident Evil Revelations. One or two players may fight their way through a selection of maps taken from the single player campaign that have been updated with new enemy layouts.

At the end of each round, players will be awarded BP based on their performance. BP can be spent in the shop to purchase more powerful weapons or upgrades. Each weapon has a certain number of upgrade slots available for the player to use as they wish. Upgrades may also be awarded to a player at the end of a round and certain weapons/upgrades will be available for purchase using 3DS playcoins.

Playable Characters

Raid Mode features many characters which are unavailable in the single player portion of Revelations. Each character has two abilities. Using any character will gradually increase the level of all playable characters, although different characters will level at different rates.

Enemies

Enemies will be taken from the main campaign but have been noted to be a somewhat different experience in raid mode. Specifically, some enemies may appear with icons next to their health bars that represent increased abilities - for example, a shield means an opponent with higher than normal defense; a fist, however, indicates an enemy who possesses more powerful attacks. These boosts are also represented visually on the monster's model, i.e. an enemy with increased speed will be significanlty smaller whereas an opponent with boosted defense may be literally twice his normal size.

Some enemies encountered in Raid Mode include Ooze, Hunter, their Farfarello variants and Fenrir, a type of mutated canine resembling the Colmillos from Resident Evil 4.
