Rain Melendez was a member of the Umbrella Security Division who was involved in the early stages of the Raccoon City incident.^[1]

Biography

Rain was formerly a police officer for the Los Angeles Police Department. She left due to repeated disagreements with the SWAT department, who refused her for her sex. She was given an offer by Major Timothy Cain to join the force. Rain was one of only two female members of One's commando team that went to The Hive to deactivate the homicidal Red Queen, the other being Olga Danilova.
