Rebecca vs. Plant 42 is a cutscene in Resident Evil. It plays on the condition that Chris Redfield failed to save Richard Aiken in the mansion.
Plot[]
Chris was grabbed by the Plant 42. As Rebecca arrives, Chris tells her that the roots are in the basement. He then give Rebecca a file that will exterminate the creature by using a chemical on the roots.
