Story I[]

Various news reports of missing person has been reported within the Ark. The A.C.P.U. officer, Poli has been dispatched to trail one of the missing person, Deipara, a daughter of a counselor.

Meanwhile, the commander is summoned by Deputy Chief Andersen regarding a D-Wave outbreak which was traced in a secluded mansion in the Outer Rim. Andersen questions the commander regarding an organization known as the Torch of Salvation, a cult devoted to the Raptures. He hands him a document which reads like some kind of prayer. Afterwards, he enlists the help of Perilous Siege to infiltrate the cult, whom the commander met in his room after a small daydream sequence.

D and K explains that despite the Central Government's best efforts to handle the situation, the mass disappearances has been prevalent with even Nikkes are being targeted. The disappearance of one of missing person, Miles Carter incidentally happened at the same time as the reported D-Wave, suspecting the connections between the two. She then suggests to the commander to infiltrate Torch of Salvation by taking the guise of a married couple indulged to the cult's doctrine: "William" and "Annette", respectively. The former is a researcher for a pharmaceutical company while the latter is a nurse. In their guise, "William" was accrued into a family debt due to an accident in his company and "Annette" has assure her husband is not at fault and he was unjustly blamed for the commotion.

As they entered the mansion's foyer, they saw a barren hall without a single guard as they expected. The two made an investigation, noting a fallen chandelier and as they delve deeper, they found a mangled corpse, which has been the source of a putrid smell. However, they unexpectedly met a stranger, a mysterious woman clad in red dress claiming to be from the FBI pointing a gun at him.

Meanwhile on the other side of the story, A.C.P.U. officers Quiry and Miranda were dispatched to look after the missing officer, Poli. Despite their superior's orders to remain on stand by, Miranda refuses to oblige and instead wants to handle an independent investigation of her own, showing remorse for having to find a dear friend if it means to write a written report about this. The two venture into the Outer Rim where they are attacked by a pack of feral dogs, noted with their glowing red eyes. As the bigger one is about to bite, two women opened fire, causing the dogs to retreat. The two thanked them for their assistance, but now questioning their saviors' identities. They retreated at some part of the mansion and closed the door shut to prevent the dogs from barging in. The short-haired woman comments to herself about being chased by dogs in a "cursed mansion" again. The two women introduced themselves as Claire Redfield and Jill Valentine respectively. Claire questions about her brother, who is an officer for the Raccoon Police Department, however, neither Poli nor Miranda are familiar about him or his occupation or Claire nor Jill being familiar with the Ark, Outer Rim, the Raptures and Nikkes.

Claire then clarifies that the dogs that attacked the two A.C.P.U. officers were seemingly infected by some kind of virus, suspecting Umbrella Corporation's involvement before asking their involvement in this situation. Miranda replies that they're dispatched to find a colleague who went missing during an investigation. As they assure that the two strangers are free to leave, Jill declines to do so, citing that the mansion may leave information as to why they are involved in this incident. They all agreed to stick together to investigate, starting by finding a map that tells them they're currently located at the mansion annex, which used to be a dorm. Claire seeing the rules became disgusted due to the rules stating to "ignore children's cries for help". Jill on the other hand, found a paper for a clinical trial with a familiar umbrella logo on it.

Back to the commander and D, the woman demands them to leave immediately and appears to know about this incident. As the woman refuses to reveal any more information, the two continues their pursuit by looking at an another corpse, this time it was completely beyond recognition, like as if a beast ripped apart. The woman in red dress then thinks of it as a diversion, D then took the opportunity to separate the commander from the woman, pointing weapons at each other. The ensuing altercation made the commander panic, demanding the woman to cooperate with them. This attempted diplomacy went short-lived as a Chimera made from parts of a Rapture and a mass-produced Nikke bursts from the window. Questioning the creature, the woman then bids them to follow her into the second floor of the mansion. Following blood, sweat and tears to take down said creature, they finally met with the woman, who introduces herself as "Ada Wong", who explains that after attempting to escape Raccoon City, she now founds herself here. Her claims made D wary of her real identity, pondering as how could someone like her right after their vision faded. The commander then clarifies that she might be someone from an another world summoned by the D-Wave, explaining to Ada regarding the D-Wave itself, much to her amusement who thinks he would be easily be played. Ada then questions that how could she trace Umbrella even in an another world like the Ark. They proceed to gaze an altar which has a Rapture's core sitting on top with numerous papers containing an Umbrella-shaped logo.

Ada finds a document about the T-Virus, which D thought she has some intel regarding the situation. Ada then explains that her hometown was ravaged by the T-Virus and G-Virus, which are capable of extreme mutations, turning life into a mindless undead hellbent on attacking anything that moves. The creators of said viruses are none other than Umbrella Corporation itself, who sought the viruses to create a Bio Organic Weapon, noting that the results are the creatures they flee from. They then found an another piece of paper talking about the "NEO-Virus". The documents written like as if it was a holy scripture, concluding to end all humanity in the Ark. Ada came dreaded by a conclusion, clarifying that variants of the viruses from Umbrella were created in this very mansion with the intention of doing the exact same thing as with Raccoon City's outbreak. D then tells the commander that she will contact her superiors to quarantine the slums and to prepare for the worst-case scenario, an anti-epidemic squad may be called upon: the Blaze Out squad. Ada then tells to him that she is willing to help and tell information at the condition of surrendering the NEO-Virus at her own custody, which he reluctantly accepts. Ada then hands an old notebook, which ominously reads:

"Death is not the end.

Death is purification.

The purification of this world begins with death.

The Merciless Judge descends."

Meanwhile, both Jill and Claire along with the two A.C.P.U. officers are investigating the documentation they read from the dorm, detailing the clinical trial is looking for candidates "worthy of salvation" when "Judgment Day" occurs. The trial involves around quaffing the "holy elixir" of the Judge to be "purified". Within a week, patient undergoes changes both physically and mentally, which the trial claims must not be interrupted to prove their worth. In the end of the document, they list down possible side effects which claims to be unstoppable "divine trials", asking for the signatory's consent and acknowledgement. Jill then wonders why is Miranda signing in such consent form, with Quiry explaining that she often forget to sign off patrol logs. She was then reminded of their original purpose in this matter, tossing the form away, with Quiry assuring them that Miranda is a competent officer that shouldn't be underestimated. As they recognize the many things in the form, both Claire and Jill are familiar with the Umbrella logo, the infected dogs that attacked Miranda and Quiry, suspecting Umbrella's connection as well. As Quiry questions the links to her colleague, Claire explains that Umbrella's public image as a pharmaceutical giant is nothing more than to cover up their illegal experiments which turns humans into mindless beasts. As she was in the middle of her chattering, a loud clattering noise is heard. Jill then proceeds to investigate the noise herself. She then finds Miranda buried underneath a pile of books, where a part of the annex has been reused as a storage room, packed to the brim with bookshelves, statues and so on. Miranda finds something in one of the books, as Jill examines it herself, a note reads:

"The Prophet greets the Judge.

The Merciless Judge punishes the sinner.

The sinner kneels beneath the False Goddess.

And the False Goddess stares down the Prophet in silence.

The deceitful gaze invites ruin

Only the true gaze shall open the path."

Pondering if this is a clue, Miranda finds a lever in a Goddess of Victory statue despite Jill's warnings. The statue rotates counter-clockwise, pointing to a statue of hooded figure, a Rapture and a man and woman, all of which also includes a similar lever. In a moment of brainstorming the puzzle and the clues of the message, hoping that the trap doesn't "sandwich" them. Despite this, they managed to complete the puzzle which reveals a hidden passage. As they ventured into the passageway, Jill and Miranda discovers a secret laboratory. Miranda dreaded in panic as she finds numerous corpses around the laboratory with some of them laying in the remains of incubation tubes. Jill then outrages as Umbrella is attempting to play god by experimenting on human lives again. They then heard what appears to be a coughing sound from someone, who turns out to be a researcher from the Torch of Salvation, who is prattling about "god guiding them to salvation" before he succumbs to his fatal injury, noticing a gaping wound in his upper torso like as if something bursts out of his body. On the other side, Claire explains the context within Raccoon City where a virus has spread to the city, turning numerous people into zombies hellbent in eating friends and families alike, turning the city into a ghost town. The story left Quiry in silence, giving Claire another reason to not let such tragedy repeat, hoping that they find her missing colleague. As they find a room, they were shocked to see a picture of a mother and her daughter: Elseria Nine and Deipara, the two missing people in the news.

Story II[]

Claire and Quiry would find a diary form Deipara as they began reading her entry: she could only look back in the past, remembering the days she dine in with her parents, the quiet days spending together watching television shows and their conversation before bedtime until everything changed. She recount the days where her mother began acting weird, uttering strange things at their home. The latest developments show that her mother have been working all day even sometimes not going home at all. She has been talking about this to her now comatose father, who used to be a commander until a fateful encounter with a Lord-class Rapture. She would recount the day she discover her mother's true nature of being a cult member, being indoctrinated by a secret Rapture cult, discovering the news about Rapture parts found in one of the missing people's homes. She then apologizes to her father due to how things went, unable to visit him as she proceeds to find her missing mother. Some time later, she would apologize to her father again, revealing that her mother is not just a cult member, but in fact the true mastermind and founder of the Torch of Salvation cult who plans to use a virus to "purify" mankind. Telling her father not to worry, she will try to make things right by stopping her mother at all costs. The information they found strengthen their findings, recounting the day that Poli went missing due to her attempts to find Deipara. They plan to get everyone safely and put an end to this virus the cult has been bio-engineering from the start, much to Claire's disgust speaking from experience. Although Quiry is reluctant about the outcome, Claire provided some encouragement to boost her morale before they converge with the other two, despite their initial concerns of their safety.

As they find Jill and Miranda, she stumbles upon the many lab reports in the secret laboratory. In the page, the injection of NEO-Virus would grant its user enhanced physical attributes and regeneration capable of matching a Nikke's already great strength, although in a short period of time. A video recording was found, showing the inhumane experiments where test subjects began screaming in agony which traumatizes the viewers. Claire on the other hand continues her readings, showing that higher dosage of the virus would further amplify mutations at the cost of breaking the subject's body due to excessive mutation, she then follows an another report, titled "Project: Reborn Evil" which is the Torch of Salvation's plans to "purify" humanity of their "sins", citing that the creation of Nikkes defies the "sacred things", detailing to spread the NEO-Virus into the Ark in order to "purify" all mankind with the Judges being led to the colony to "cleanse them". The file then includes a deadline of the project, which is commenced at 10h 1m and 3s. The group quickly tries to find a way to stop the project from commencing, delving deeper into the mansion's secret passageway.

The commander is reading the journals of Elseria Nine, the cult leader where she would recite the cult's prayers, reminiscing her days with her family. Upon hearing the doctor's statements regarding her husband's condition, Nine would recount a man named Miles Carter, a former commander who is now war-torn from his missions in the surface and is currently an alcoholic man, wondering to herself if her husband wouldn't wake up for a similar reason. She then bids her husband goodbye as his heartrate monitor goes on a stable beeping. Later on, she would encounter a well-dressed man who claims to have received a package from her husband, containing "contents from the Judge" along with numerous ominous blurred texts. As he scrawls through the pages, he would found the very same findings the other party have found in a secret laboratory: "RAC 10.1" and "holy elixir" mumbo jumbo scribbled. The journal also details that the other missing people have been "reborn" after consuming this "holy elixir" while she and Deipara would become one sooner. The finaly entry of the journal tells a "traitor" amongst their ranks, which is actually the missing officer, Poli, whom they are now preparing to be "sacrificed in a ritual" which is a jail cell where she and Deipara are being held captive. The commander is briefed by D that Blaze Out will arrive approximately in two hours to contain any potential outbreak and burn down the mansion if they arrived, prompting them to resolve the matter before the building goes down with them, beginning with finding Poli's holding cell.
