Changes: Rendezvous

Rendezvous is a cutscene in Resident Evil 5. It is played during Chapter 2-1. All cutscenes for the game were storyboarded by yU+co. artist, Jerry Bingham.^[1]

Plot[]

Chris and Sheva reach the checkpoint where Alpha team parked their Gambit and meet the Delta Team Captain, Josh Stone. Getting out able device he received from De Chant, he prepares to upload it to the BSAA's mainframe via Alpha's computer. While uploading, he notices an image of a woman who looks suspiciously like Jill Valentine.

Transcript[]

Chris Redfield: "Man, am I glad to see you guys."

Josh Stone: "Delta Team, Captain Stone."

Chris: "Chris Redfield."

Josh: "Sheva."

Sheva Alomar: "Thanks Josh. I owe you one."

Chris: "You guys know each other."

Sheva: "I trained under Josh. He taught me everything I knew."

Josh: "Sheva became the little sister of the team. Now Sheva, you must continue your search for Irving. According to the data we received from the hard drive, we believe he has moved onto the mining area. There's more info inside. We'll follow after taking care of business here. And keep your radio handy just in case."

Sheva: "Thanks, Josh."

Chris: "Jill..."

Sheva: "Chris, are you alright?"

Chris: "This picture it's... Forget it, it's nothing. Let's move out."

Chris Redfield: 「おかげで助かった」

Josh Stone: 「デルタ隊長ジョッシュだ」

Chris: 「クリスだ」

Josh: 「シェバ……」

Sheva Alomar: 「ありがとう　ジョッシュ　みんなもね」

Chris: 「知り合いなのか？」

Sheva: 「私　彼に訓練を受けていたの」

Josh: 「俺達チームの妹みたいなもんだ」
「シェバ　そっちはアーヴィングを追ってくれ」
「やはり　奴は鉱山へ向かった可能性が高い」
「これがHDDに入っていた情報だ」
「ここが片付いたら後を追う」
「無線は常に開けておけよ」

Sheva: 「わかったわ」

Chris: 「ジル！？」

Sheva: 「どうしたの？」

Chris: 「この画像……やはりジルは…」
「……いや、何でもない」
「行こう！」
