Resident Evil: Damnation was first officially teased in September 2010, following a teaser in November. Makoto Kamyia (director of Resident Evil Degeneration) was again attached to the project, produced by Hiroyuki Kobayashi (producer of Resident Evil: Degeneration, associate producer of Resident Evil: Afterlife and Resident Evil: Apocalypse), with plans for a 3D release in 2012.[1][2][3] it made its official debut on 2012 with the official debut trailer.[4]
