Resident Evil: Death Island, also known in Japan as BIOHAZARD DEATH ISLAND (バイオハザード:デスアイランド?), is a feature-length CG film, directed by Eiichiro Hasumi and written by Makoto Fukami in collaboration with Capcom. A direct sequel to Resident Evil: Vendetta,[1] which was also written by Fukami, and the fourth prime continuity installment of the Resident Evil animated series, it was first released in Singaporean theatres on June 22, 2023, before being released to Japanese theaters on July 7, 2023, which is followed by an American release on July 25, 2023 via DVD & Blu-ray, among all other regions.

A monthly tie-in manga adaptation was released by Kadokawa to promote the film.

The events of the film take place in 2015, a year after the New York bioterrorist attack and two years before Ethan Winters became embroiled in the Baker House Incident seen in Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.[2]
