Resident Evil 2: The Board Game is a board game produced by Steamforged Games. It was announced on August 14, 2017. It is the second Resident Evil board game, the first being Resident Evil: The Deck Building Game.[1]

Development
A license to make a Resident Evil-themed board game was purchased by Steamforged Games Ldt. and launched on KickStarter to fund the mass production and distribution of the game. This business pattern was previously done by Steamforged for Dark Souls: The Board Game.
Funding launched on Kickstarter from September 25, 2017 - October 23, 2017. With a goal of £150,000 ($202,573.50 USD) it successfully managed to raise £800,561 ($1,081,149.62 USD) within a 28 day pledge cycle.[2]
