The Japan-only, mobile device edition of Resident Evil 4, known as BioHazard 4 in its homeland. The game was released later onto the iPod touch/iPhone only in the States, known as Resident Evil 4 Mobile Edition.
Gameplay
This game was similar to the original game, except for the HUD, gameplay, and enemies. Fewer enemies appeared, and the Shooting Range was simply cut out of the game, and the Regenerators/Iron Maidens were easier to kill. Dr. Salvador and the Bella Sisters were also easier to kill, and Dr. Salvador had less appearances. The Ganados appeared in smaller groups, and the firepower was increased for every weapon. The merchant sold the weapons for lower prices. He also seemed to appear more often, before every mission in the iPod/iPhone version. This game was only released in Japan for certain mobile phones, and the U.S on the iPod touch, and iPhone. The gameplay differed between the iPod/iPhone and the NGage mobile phone.

Differences
Overall, Resident Evil 4 Mobile features less variety of enemies, only two Granados appearing with three types of weapons: unarmed, pitchfork and axe while the Zealots are largely the same.
Notably absent are the boss battles of Del Lago and Bitores Mendez as are Colmillos, Armadura and potentially Novistadors (unknown yet)
The variety of weapons have been reduced to Handgun, Shotgun, Rifle, TMP and Magnum. It appears that they've been blended together as the Handgun in Resident Evil 4 Mobile features Piercing perks akin of the Punisher and the fact that the Shotgun's damage goes above 6.0 damage (max 10, same as the Riot Gun)
Mercenaries
Also included was a mercenaries mode which would advance into a seperate sort of campaign. The player would get a setup of weapons and items and an objective. The four main types of objectives were:
Survive until the time limit is reached. Rescue Ashley and escape. Get to an area before the time limit is reached. Kill all the enemies in te area before the time limit is reached.
