The official reveal trailer was released on Capcom's YouTube channel on January 29, 2012, with the release date set to November 20, 2012. However, the Captivate 2012 trailer showed a different release date, being October 2, 2012; the game ultimately released on the latter date worldwide, and on October 4 in Japan.
