The Resident Evil Prologue is a 22-page booklet made in diggest size, by BradyGames that details short summaries of the aftermath from the main series of games preceding Resident Evil 4 , sumarizing the events of Resident Evil Zero, Resident Evil Remake, Resident Evil 3, Resident Evil 2, and CODE: Veronica as how the story in the games suppose to happen. The booklet was included as part of the Resident Evil 4 Collector's edition for the Gamecube and later for the Playstation 2 port.

Trivia
- This booklet proclaims that Jill had shot Nicholai's chopper down, killing him in the process, however, Nicholai survived the events of RE3 as Jill tried to negotiate with him.
- The booklet also states that Ada "dies" after getting shot by Annete and then Leon was forced to let Ada fall. However, in truth Ada survived.
- Also, the booklet follows the Leon A/ Claire B scenarios from Resident Evil 2, not the canon Claire A/ Leon B including parts of the mentioned scenario.
