The Resident Evil Revelations Unveiled Edition Demo, also known as the Resident Evil Revelations Demo is a playable demo of the HD version of Resident Evil Revelations released on the PS3, Xbox 360 and Steam. It can only be downloaded on these platforms.
The demo takes places during Episode 1: Into the Depths, at the 1-3 sub-chapter where Jill finds Chris inside a locked door and must find the Crew Quarters Area Key. It ends at the last cutscene of the chapter, when a masked figure appears after Jill and Parker find out that the Chris was actually just a doll.
It can be played on the three difficulties available by default in the full game: Casual, Normal and Infernal and gameplay-wise there are little differences between the final release.
For instance, the Play Manual is displayed in the demo as soon as it starts as a type of tutorial, in the full game this file is never shown on the screen, but can be read in the inventory. The "Subweapon Controls" file however is exclusive to the demo, it's never shown in the full game, though it is simply a shorter version of the Play Manual file.
