Resident Evil Village, stylized as VII.I.AGE RESIDENT EVIL, and known in Japan as BIOHAZARD VILLAGE (バイオハザード ヴィレッジ,baiohazādo virejji?), stylized as VII.I.AGE BIOHAZARD, is a first-person Survival Horror title developed by Capcom. It was released on 7 May 2021. It is the first Resident Evil game for the ninth console generation.
A Gold Edition of the game was released on October 28, 2022, with the Winters' Expansion included which comprises 3 more additional characters to The Mercenaries, third-person perspective and over-the-shoulder gameplay and new story Shadows of Rose which focuses on Rosemary Winters 16 years after the main game.
The PSVR2 version was released on February 22, 2023, as a free DLC to Resident Evil Village and its Gold Edition on PlayStation 5.
