An experience bonus that your character earns while they are not in use. The bonus will be displayed within the exp gauge in blue.
Earning this rest bonus gives you must more exp than normal, so it's in a good way to level up characters you aren't using.
While they can earn experience even while you aren't playing the game, but there is a limit to how much can be earned this way.
