Rhinoceros Beetle (Subfamily: Dynastinae) is an item in Resident Evil 4.[1]
Location[]
Three beetles can be found in the whole game, one at the Village, on a tree in the Lakeside Settlement. One in the Castle and one on the Military Island. One beetle can be found in the last chapter of Separate Ways.
Purpose[]
It can be sold to the Merchant for 10,000₧. Alternatively, it can be consumed for a slight increase in maximum health, similar to a Yellow Herb. However, there are more than enough Yellow Herbs in the game to max out Leon's health, so the beetles are more useful being sold to the Merchant.
