Rick (リック rikku) worked as a assistant for the botanist's research on plants . He was killed by Al Lester in March 1998.
History[]
March 1998
Rick and the botanist travel to the Arklay Mountains in search of plant specimens to study. They soon come across vegetation infected by the T-JCCC203 virus, mistakenly identifying them as a new species.
March 15, 1998
While exploring the surrounding forest, they discover the abandoned Arklay Hospital, vines and plants covering the building.
March 18, 1998
Rick and the botanist decide to set up camp inside the building. They agree to keep the location a secret to prevent anyone from claiming their research results.
March 19, 1998
They find themselves unable to exit the building as strange plants have grown over all exits doors. They're effectively trapped.
March 20, 1998
Rick begins to feel a human presence watching them and grows increasingly paranoid.
March 1998 (exact date unknown)
*While searching the building for an escape route, The botanist accidentally drops his satellite phone, effectively cutting off communication with the outside world.
*Later, Rick is killed by Al Lester, who had assumed his masked form, his dead body is found by the botanist a while later.[1]
