Rocket Launcher (Special) is a weapon in Resident Evil 4.

History

Ada Wong brings a specialized Rocket Launcher to Leon Scott Kennedy during their fight against Osmund Saddler. Leon then uses this Rocket Launcher to expose his body in order to bring one final blow against the mutant Saddler.

Gameplay

During the second phase of Osmund Saddler's bossfight, players will gain the Rocket Launcher (Special) after Ada hands it to them in a cutscene. Player must immediately use it against Saddler's weak spot exposing his body, which triggers a cutscene where Leon will rush towards Saddler and use his own staff to end him with one final blow.

Trivia

• The Rocket Launcher (Special) can be sold to the Merchant for 30,000₧ if the player uses a mod to reposition Leon into the Merchant's room after obtaining the weapon.
  • There is an unused inventory description for the weapon that can only be seen when selling the weapon.
