A school bus was present in Claire Redfield's convoy in the years after the start of the global T-virus pandemic. Driven by Otto, its purpose was to ferry child refugees. The bus was heavily modified and outfitted with wire mesh on the windows as added protection.

When the school bus was attacked by crows near Salt Lake City, it crashed into a utility pole due to the shere number of them blocking the windscreen. During the attempted rescue of the children, the school bus was rendered beyond repair and several adults were killed.
