Separate Ways Chapter 5 Ending (tentative) is a cutscene playing in the end of Chapter 5: Obtain The Sample and the Resident Evil 4's Separate Ways sidestory.
Plot[]
After Saddler's defeat, Leon notices the Plaga sample on the ground and reaches for it. However, Ada appears suddenly and points a gun at Leon's head, demanding that he hand over the sample. Despite complying, Leon questions the wisdom of her actions. Ada snatches the sample from his grasp and bolts towards the edge of the steel tower. As she leaps off, a waiting helicopter intercepts her, lifting her to safety. While holding the sample, Ada assures Leon that she will handle it with care before tossing him the key to a nearby jet-ski for his escape from the island, which is on the brink of exploding. She bids Leon farewell and boards the helicopter, where she seals the sample in a secure NBC case and watches the sun rise as the end credits roll.
