Serpent Head is a key item that appears in Resident Evil 4.
Purpose[]
The item is required to open a passage. Specifically, the headless statue of a chimera must be provided with its missing heads: the Serpent Head, the Lion Head, and the Goat Head. Without all three components, the passage remains sealed.
Location[]
To acquire the Serpent Head from the Dining Hall, Leon and Ashley must work together to solve a puzzle. At the end of the hall, two paintings provide a clue: one shows a queen sitting at a table with an empty plate, an empty glass, and two sets of silverware; the other depicts a king with a plate of bread, a glass, a jug of wine, and three sets of silverware.
To proceed, they need to find the matching sets of dining tables. Leon should guide Ashley to the northeast chair of the lower table, while he positions himself in the northeast corner of the upper table. It's worth noting that as long as the correct seats are taken, it's inconsequential whether it's Leon or Ashley who occupies this particular seat. Once in place, Leon must ring the bell, and Ashley should follow suit. By doing so, they can obtain the Serpent Head.
