Shawn Roberts (born April 2, 1984) is a Canadian actor. He is known in the Resident Evil series for his role as Albert Wesker in Resident Evil: Afterlife, Resident Evil: Retribution and Resident Evil: The Final Chapter.

Life and career

Roberts was born in Stratford, Ontario on April 2, 1984. He started with playing a wolf in a school play of "Little Red Riding Hood" and his friend's father helped him get a role in Emily of New Moon. He is also known for playing the rapist Dean Walton in the Canadian television drama Degrassi: The Next Generation. He has also appeared in George A. Romero's Diary of the Dead and Land of the Dead. In 2010, he appeared in Resident Evil: Afterlife, where he played villain Albert Wesker. Roberts originally auditioned for the role of Chris Redfield, however the role is instead given to Wentworth Miller as the producers cast him in as Albert Wesker.
