(Operation Raccoon City's backstory)
Sherry Birkin was the daughter of Umbrella scientists William and Annette.[1]
Biography[]
Due to Umbrella's desire to acquire the G-Virus, Sherry's abduction was a primary objective of the Wolfpack. Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield, assisted by a Spec-Ops squad, were eventually subdued and apprehended with Sherry. If Leon and Claire are killed, Sherry is abducted and taken Umbrella's custody.
In the Spec-Ops DLC, Claire requested the Spec-Op's assistance in locating Sherry after they were separated in the sewers. After finding her, the team is attacked by William Birkin whom Sherry is horrified to see mutated. Claire returned just in time and the two escaped, though as they did Sherry pleaded with the Spec-Ops not to hurt her 'daddy'. The team was then forced to take him down and Claire and Sherry were re-entrusted to the Spec-Ops squad of the main campaign.
