<nowiki> </nowiki>within this file is a general background information overview of BSAA
  +
agent – Sheva Alomar – as pieced together from various sources. The
  +
information listed here is neither complete nor should it be used as a
  +
psychological analysis of the subject.

  +
Sheva Alomar was born into
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>an impoverished family situation in a small factory town situated in
  +
Africa. This particular town being home to Umbrella Plant 57. As with
  +
most factory towns, the plant was the lifeblood of the town, bringing in
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>much needed revenue and steady employment for its populous. Almost 80
  +
percent of the town’s adult population was employed at the factory in
  +
some facility, including Sheva’s parents. While the pay was low by most
  +
nations’ standards, it provided a steady income for the townspeople and a
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>happy childhood for Sheva. This happiness was short-lived however.
  +
  +
While
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>only eight years old, Sheva’s peaceful life was brought to an abrupt
  +
end by the sound of sirens erupting from the factory. As the sirens
  +
pierced the air, an ominous plume of black some poured out of the
  +
factory. Even as a child, Sheva knew something was terribly wrong. With
  +
dread in her heart she ran toward the factory. Arriving at the factory,
  +
she soon discovered the entrance was blocked. In place of the kind old
  +
man who used to stand guard at the entrance, strange adults in
  +
protective suits were everywhere. Their faces hidden by masks. Sheva
  +
could not understand what was happening.
  +
  +
“I realized years later that they were wearing anti-biohazard protective gear. They were part of Umbrella’s special forces.”
  +
  +
She
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>may not have understood the muffled voices emanating from beneath those
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>masks at the time, but the assault rifles they leveled at her more than
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>made their intentions understood. The country was not a very stable
  +
place to begin with, and near her town resided members of a large
  +
anti-government guerilla army. Although only a child, Sheva knew all too
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>well the violence that often accompanied those with guns. The adults in
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>the village that remained were promptly executed by these gunmen. Sheva
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>was spared this same fate thanks to the vigilance of a neighbor who was
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>able to get her back to her parent’s home unnoticed.
  +
  +
Thus began
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>the longest night of Sheva’s life. Crippled by fear, she could only
  +
wait and pray for her parents return. The night passed and a new day
  +
dawned, but still they did not return. As night on another day fell she
  +
sensed a presence outside her home. Unable to contain her relief and
  +
joy, she ran to the door to greet her parents. As she swung the door
  +
open, crying aloud with joy, she was soon met with disappointment and
  +
confusion. For at the door, were not her parents rushing to embrace her,
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>but her uncle, with a look of shock and horror painted upon his face.
  +
His words crushed any nope she had left…
  +
  +
“Your parents are dead. There was an accident at the factory.”
  +
  +
Taking
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>anything of value left in the house, her uncle then took Sheva to live
  +
with his family. Taking her away from the only home she had ever known.
  +
Her life with her uncle would be brief. Not only was her uncle’s family
  +
extremely poor, but he also had seven children of his own to care for.
  +
Even though Sheva was a blood relative, he probably never would have
  +
come for her if he hadn’t thought he would receive financial
  +
compensation from the factory. That compensation never came. Umbrella
  +
never gave out any payments. And soon, her aunt and uncle were unable to
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>feed her.
  +
  +
Life was hell for Sheva, not only was she on the verge
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>of starvation, she yearned to be with her parents again. In her grief,
  +
she became fixed on the notion that they were still alive. As the days
  +
passed, this belief grew so strong to the point where she could think of
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>nothing else. She knew she had to find them. So one night as the moon
  +
bathed the savanna in silver, Sheva ran away from her uncle’s house and
  +
headed back to her hometown and the life that was stolen from her. The
  +
thought of her parents drove her on. But the expansive savanna is a
  +
harsh environment for one so young and small. During her second night,
  +
she began to feel the effects of malnutrition. Unable to find food,
  +
Sheva soon collapsed.
  +
  +
A night in the savanna is not a quiet
  +
affair. The sounds of animals plodding along, beasts howling at the
  +
moon, insects chirping and buzzing about, and the dry wind soughing
  +
through the grass. Sheva considered them all with wonder. She had grown
  +
up in a town and was unaccustomed to her new surroundings. Through the
  +
cacophony of strange noises, Sheva picked up a sound that was quite
  +
familiar to her. She heard the low rumbling of an engine and the sound
  +
of tires cracking over the dirt. A truck pulled up next to Sheva and a
  +
stranger got out of the passenger side and spoke to her. If she replied
  +
to him or not, she couldn’t recall, but the man picked her up and placed
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>her in the bed of the truck.
  +
  +
The man that found Sheva was an
  +
anti-government guerilla fighter. He provided her with food, shelter,
  +
and a place to call home. Unfortunately for Sheva, this good turn was
  +
accompanied by some bad news. She was told that the incident at the
  +
Umbrella factory was not an accident. That the factory manufactured
  +
bioweapons and Umbrella was carrying out the final test on one of its
  +
newest weapons at the dilapidated factory. The regular employees who
  +
worked there were unaware of what Umbrella was actually creating, and
  +
they paid for it with their lives, including Sheva’s mother and father…
  +
  +
After
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>concluding the test, Umbrella took measures to conceal the entire
  +
affair. With the assistance of the government’s army they destroyed the
  +
factory along with the entire town, effectively wiping the town Sheva
  +
had called home off the map. At this news Sheva was filled with rage.
  +
She hated Umbrella and blamed them for her parents’ deaths, and she
  +
hated the government for just rolling over at Umbrella’s behest. It was
  +
at this moment she decided to join the guerrillas in their fight against
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>the government. Sheva started out by doing laundry, cooking meals, and
  +
taking care of other chores.
  +
  +
After only a few years with the
  +
guerillas, she was given her first gun. She doesn’t like to talk about
  +
her time with the guerillas. Perhaps the memories are too painful, or
  +
maybe she’s too ashamed of what she did there. One of her main duties
  +
with the guerillas was to go into town and purchase supplies for the
  +
group. For seven long years Sheva stayed with the guerillas. By this
  +
time she was a teenager, and had spent most of her known life with the
  +
guerillas. Perhaps due to her age, when she went into town, the
  +
townspeople never suspected her of being a guerilla fighter. It could be
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>for this very reason that she was the one they sent.
  +
  +
It was on
  +
one of these occasions while she was in town that a man approached her.
  +
He looked like a local, but spoke with a strange foreign accent. Handing
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>her a piece of paper and speaking in a hurried voice, he stated: “Read
  +
this. If you believe what it says, come to the church in the back alley
  +
in two hours.”
  +
  +
After speaking these words he disappeared into the
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>crowd as quickly as he had appeared. Sheva turned the paper over in her
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>hand, and her eyes were drawn to one word – Umbrella. It was the same
  +
pharmaceutical company whose selfish aims took her parents from her. If
  +
that incident had never happened, perhaps her life would have been
  +
different. The message on the paper said that the guerillas were
  +
planning on using bioweapons to conduct a large-scale terrorist attack
  +
that would overthrow the government. Umbrella was going to make a deal
  +
with the guerillas to provide them with the bioweapons. The man wanted
  +
Sheva’s help in stopping the deal from going through.
  +
  +
At first
  +
Sheva thought it was a government trap, but deep down she knew the note
  +
spoke the truth. When asked how she knew, she had this to say: “My
  +
country was strongly influenced by France, and many government officials
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>spoke in a French patois. But this man was different. I couldn’t place
  +
his accent at the time, but somehow I knew I could trust him.”
  +
  +
Sheva
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>followed her instincts. She went to the church and met two men there.
  +
One of them had given her the note earlier. The other wore a suit with
  +
no tie and said that he was from the U.S. government. What the man in
  +
the suit wanted seemed straightforward enough – the apprehension of the
  +
representative from Umbrella. From what he said, this particular person
  +
held the key to causing an irreparable blow to Umbrella. But in order to
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>arrest him, they needed Sheva’s help. As long as they got their man,
  +
they wouldn’t do anything to her or her fellow guerillas.
  +
  +
Even
  +
if they did not succeed in arresting the man in question, they promised
  +
not to turn her or her companions over to the authorities. The man in
  +
the suit’s offer seemed credible. But could she betray those who had
  +
been like a family to her? The man seemed to understand Sheva’s
  +
apprehension, so he asked her one simple question: “Don’t you want to
  +
see Umbrella punished for what they’ve done?”
  +
  +
Sheva quickly nodded her head.
  +
  +
“That’s
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>why we selected you. But if you want to help us fight Umbrella, then
  +
you are going to have to leave your so-called friends.”
  +
  +
“And then what? What’s in it for me?”
  +
  +
“Look
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>around! You know these guerillas you are with aren’t doing this for
  +
some greater good. They’ll do anything to topple the government,
  +
including things you know are wrong. Help us, and you can finally do
  +
some good for the people of your country.”
  +
  +
“And what makes you think a 15-year-old girl can help?”
  +
  +
“Some
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>day you’ll learn that age matters very little. A person’s life is not
  +
defined by age, but by the choices they make. You have the chance to
  +
fight for something here that goes beyond just you, something that
  +
affects the entire world. Can you really walk away when so much is at
  +
stake?”
  +
  +
Sheva would never forget these words…
  +
  +
Three days
  +
later the special forces team arrived at the location where the deal was
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>taking place. Sheva had left the door to the building unlocked, and she
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>wore a wire so the team on standby could hear what was taking place.
  +
The operation was a success. The target from Umbrella was quickly
  +
apprehended and taken away. Sheva and the guerillas were taken to the
  +
American Consulate, there to be released two days later with no charges
  +
pressed, just as promised. Recognizing Sheva’s abilities, or perhaps
  +
moved by pity, the man in the suit offered Sheva the chance to start
  +
life anew in America. With nothing left in Africa for her, Sheva decided
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>to take him up on his offer.
  +
  +
Shortly after arriving in America,
  +
Sheva’s high intelligence and drive quickly became apparent. She
  +
surpassed any and all expectations, even learning English to a native
  +
level in a mere six months. Within two years of arriving in the U.S. she
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>had enrolled at a university. After graduating with high honors from
  +
her university, her legal guardian (the man in the suit) suggested that
  +
she join the newly formed BSAA to help others as she had been helped.
  +
Umbrella had already been dismantled many years prior, but Sheva had not
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>let go of her hatred toward them and all others like them.
  +
After
  +
<nowiki> </nowiki>completing basic training, she was assigned to the unit led by Josh
  +
Stone. There she trained with his unit for eight months, learning
  +
everything she would need to know to survive in the field. After the
  +
completion of her training, she was hand picked up become a BSAA agent.
  +
She is currently involved in operations throughout the world.

"We're partners... to the end. "
— Sheva to Chris before boarding the BSAA boat.

Sheva Alomar is an agent for the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance, operating as part of its West African branch.[2] She was assigned to the current mission to assist Chris Redfield, who was unfamiliar with the area. A versatile fighter with extensive experience, her ability to use firearms is on par with Chris. She is much smaller and more flexible than Chris, enabling her to perform certain manoeuvres that Chris cannot. In turn, this allows Chris to throw her up to high ledges, or over large gaps in order to reach areas or objectives that a lone operative couldn't reach.

Biography

"Don't worry. I may not be as big as you, but I can still hold my own. "
— Sheva to Chris after gearing up for the mission

At the age of eight, Sheva's parents died in what appeared to be a factory accident at Umbrella 57th Plant. Her uncle came to take Sheva and house her in his home along with seven other children. One day, Sheva ran away from her uncle's house into the Savannah, where she was found by a truck driver who housed and fed her. But little did she know that this truck driver was a member of a guerilla group.

She later joined the anti-government guerilla group, where she learned that what happened to her parents was much more than a simple accident. The factory was the location of a final test of one of Umbrella's many B.O.W.s. With the help of the government's army, Umbrella erased Sheva's village and its inhabitants once the test was complete.

Sheva remained with the guerrillas throughout her childhood. She was fifteen when she was contacted by American operatives to stop Umbrella from selling a B.O.W. to the guerrillas. With Sheva's help, the operatives stopped the deal and apprehended the Umbrella salesman. The man who initially contacted Sheva offered her a chance to start her life again in America. Sheva accepted. Within months, Sheva was speaking English like a native and enrolled in a university two years later. After graduation, her benefactor suggested she join the BSAA while Umbrella had dissolved years before this. Sheva's hatred of Umbrella and all others like them led her to join the BSAA. Sheva was assigned to Josh Stone's unit for eight months for training. Upon completion of her training, the BSAA chose her to become an agent.

Kijuju incident

"Locked and Loaded! "
— Sheva to Chris on the helicopter piloted by Josh
ShevaAlomarWitchShotGun

Sheva was assigned to work alongside Chris throughout Kijuju to keep the natives from becoming hostile over the fact that he's an American. The two were to assist BSAA Alpha Team Members in locating and apprehending a Bio-weapons dealer named Ricardo Irving. Their contact, who supplied them with their weapons and gear, also informed them that Irving is also wanted for questioning on a possible doomsday project known as Uroboros. Unfortunately, the situation in Kijuju would prove far more volatile than the two agents had expected as the locals were not only hostile, but displayed aggression similar to the Ganados of Los Iluminados. They watched helplessly as their contact who was captured by the locals was executed by a masked man wielding a massive axe. While en route to Alpha Team's location to the weapon's deal coordinates, they soon discovered that Alpha Team had been attacked and slain by an unknown B.O.W as an apparent set-up by Irving to eliminate the presence of B.S.A.A operatives. They eventually tracked him down, but Irving managed to escape with the help of a mysterious cloaked woman. Chris finds files left behind by Irving with information on his old partner Jill Valentine. After barely surviving a number of situations which includes killing two of Irvining's Bio-Weapons (The Popokarimu and Ndesu, the latter of which wiped out most of BSAA Delta Team), Sheva begs Chris to retreat after seeing how badly they were outnumbered. He then tells Sheva how his longtime partner Jill Valentine died during a mission to arrest Oswell E. Spencer of the Umbrella Corporation. Sheva changes her mind once she learns of Jill and sees Chris' determination to find her.

Chris and Sheva trail Irving through sewers and an oil refinery. They manage to track down Irving with the help of Josh Stone, Sheva's friend and mentor. When Chris and Sheva corner Irving on his ship, he injects himself with a Dominant Species Plaga. However, Chris and Sheva manage to take him down after a difficult battle. With Irving dead, Chris decides to disobey orders to search for Jill, who he now believes to be alive. Sheva accepts Chris' decision and continues her role as his partner.

The pair make their way to an abandoned underground laboratory formerly used by the Umbrella Corporation. Eventually they discover a large room filled with human bodies contained in pods. Chris used the computer to locate the pod where Jill would be stored. When they discover the pod Jill was in to be empty, they are threatened by Excella Gionne via video screen. Sheva recognizes Excella as the head of the TRICELL Inc.'s African division, and is outraged to discover that Excella and TRICELL are part of the horrible experiments performed at this facility. Sheva also realizes that Excella lied about not knowing where Jill was.

The two track Excella from the facility to underground ruins, though she eventually escapes with the help of the mysterious cloaked woman, whom Albert Wesker reveals to be none other than Jill Valentine. Together, Chris and Sheva are able to remove the mechanism controlling Jill. After, she reveals Wesker's plan to spread Uroboros worldwide, and pleads Chris to stop Wesker.

Sheva and Chris follow Excella and Wesker to a large ship, where they corner Excella. Excella escapes, but not before drops one of her briefcases full of vials. Sheva picks up one of them and takes it with her. Eventually, the two reach a pile of corpses and a weakened Excella. Wesker injected Excella with the Uroboros virus, which eventually rejects her as a host and creates the monstrosity known as Uroboros Aheri.

After disposing of the mutated Excella, the two BSAA operatives set out after Wesker. On the way, Jill contacts Chris to explain the source of Wesker's strength; an unstable virus. Jill explains that an overdose of the virus would possibly kill Wesker. Sheva realizes that the vial she picked up from Excella's briefcase, namely PG67A/W is the virus.

Chris and Sheva rush to Wesker's hangar to confront him. After a difficult battle, the two are able to inject the virus into Wesker's chest, by getting rid of the light to decrease Wesker's vision, and using a night vision RPG-7. With his body weakening, and the two BSAA members on his tail, Wesker escapes to his jet. Chris and Sheva climb in through the cargo hold to stop Wesker. Mid-flight, Chris opens the cargo hold, sucking Wesker out the back of the jet. A celebration of Wesker's demise is short-lived when Wesker grabs Sheva's leg in an attempt to take her with him. With Chris's aid, Sheva is saved, and Wesker falls into a volcano courtesy of a gunshot to his head.

Severely outmatched, Wesker has no choice but to combine Uroboros with himself, and attack the two with amazing strength. After a lengthy fight, Wesker is shot down into the molten magma while Chris and Sheva escape with Jill and Josh. Wesker, however, is not one to give up, and grabs the helicopter leg with his tentacle-like arm. However, Chris and Sheva are able to destroy Wesker once and for all by using two RPG-7. While flying away on the helicopter, the four BSAA agents praise that the journey is over, and that Wesker is dead once and for all.

2012

"I was very sad to hear of Chris' recent disappearance. He was such a large part of the BSAA, and he was a very important person to me, as well. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help. The BSAA West African Branch is always here for your support."
— Sheva in her email to Piers.

Several years after the events of the Kijuju incident, Sheva continued to work for the BSAA's West African Branch. At some point in 2012 Sheva contacted Piers Nivans after hearing of Chris's disappearance in Edonia. She voiced sadness at hearing his disappearance and offered support from the BSAA's West African Branch, noting that he was an important person to her.

Personality

Sheva is shown to be extremely loyal to her fellow BSAA comrades. When Chris was planning on continuing the mission in Africa, Sheva tried to talk him out of it out of concern for his safety. However, after hearing that Chris was in Africa to not only complete the mission, but also because his old partner, Jill Valentine, who was thought to be dead is still alive and somewhere in Africa, Sheva resolved to continue the mission with Chris. Another instance about this loyalty is when Chris went missing in Edonia, she sent a message of concern to Piers Nivans to ask if she can be any help.[3]

Sheva is shown to be somewhat naive. When they were attacked the an Uroboros creature that wiped out Alpha Team, Sheva naively thought they could have saved Alpha Team had they gotten there sooner, only for Chris to point out they would most likely be dead too if they had because they were only able to defeat that creature due to the luck of being near a furnace when they encountered it.

Sheva's Past

Listed within this file is a general background information overview of BSAA agent – Sheva Alomar – as pieced together from various sources. The information listed here is neither complete nor should it be used as a psychological analysis of the subject.

It was the same pharmaceutical company whose selfish aims took her parents from her. If that incident had never happened, perhaps her life would have been different. The message on the paper said that the guerillas were planning on using bioweapons to conduct a large-scale terrorist attack that would overthrow the government. Umbrella was going to make a deal with the guerillas to provide them with the bioweapons. The man wanted Sheva’s help in stopping the deal from going through.

At first Sheva thought it was a government trap, but deep down she knew the note spoke the truth. When asked how she knew, she had this to say: “My country was strongly influenced by France, and many government officials spoke in a French patois. But this man was different. I couldn’t place his accent at the time, but somehow I knew I could trust him.”

Sheva followed her instincts. She went to the church and met two men there. One of them had given her the note earlier. The other wore a suit with no tie and said that he was from the U.S. government. What the man in the suit wanted seemed straightforward enough – the apprehension of the representative from Umbrella. From what he said, this particular person held the key to causing an irreparable blow to Umbrella. But in order to arrest him, they needed Sheva’s help. As long as they got their man, they wouldn’t do anything to her or her fellow guerillas.

Even if they did not succeed in arresting the man in question, they promised not to turn her or her companions over to the authorities. The man in the suit’s offer seemed credible. But could she betray those who had been like a family to her? The man seemed to understand Sheva’s apprehension, so he asked her one simple question: “Don’t you want to see Umbrella punished for what they’ve done?”

Sheva quickly nodded her head.

“That’s why we selected you. But if you want to help us fight Umbrella, then you are going to have to leave your so-called friends.”

“And then what? What’s in it for me?”

“Look around! You know these guerillas you are with aren’t doing this for some greater good. They’ll do anything to topple the government, including things you know are wrong. Help us, and you can finally do some good for the people of your country.”

“And what makes you think a 15-year-old girl can help?”

“Some day you’ll learn that age matters very little. A person’s life is not defined by age, but by the choices they make. You have the chance to fight for something here that goes beyond just you, something that affects the entire world. Can you really walk away when so much is at stake?”

Sheva would never forget these words…

Three days later the special forces team arrived at the location where the deal was taking place. Sheva had left the door to the building unlocked, and she wore a wire so the team on standby could hear what was taking place. The operation was a success. The target from Umbrella was quickly apprehended and taken away. Sheva and the guerillas were taken to the American Consulate, there to be released two days later with no charges pressed, just as promised. Recognizing Sheva’s abilities, or perhaps moved by pity, the man in the suit offered Sheva the chance to start life anew in America. With nothing left in Africa for her, Sheva decided to take him up on his offer.

Shortly after arriving in America, Sheva’s high intelligence and drive quickly became apparent. She surpassed any and all expectations, even learning English to a native level in a mere six months. Within two years of arriving in the U.S. she had enrolled at a university. After graduating with high honors from her university, her legal guardian (the man in the suit) suggested that she join the newly formed BSAA to help others as she had been helped. Umbrella had already been dismantled many years prior, but Sheva had not let go of her hatred toward them and all others like them. After completing basic training, she was assigned to the unit led by Josh Stone. There she trained with his unit for eight months, learning everything she would need to know to survive in the field. After the completion of her training, she was hand picked up become a BSAA agent. She is currently involved in operations throughout the world.
