The Short Sword is a bonus weapon in Resident Evil: Revelations 2.
Gameplay
The Short Sword is made available for purchase in the Rewards menu after clearing all of the main campaign episodes on Normal difficulty or higher with an S rank. It is listed under the name "Bonus Weapon: No Ordinary Knife" before unlocking and later "Bonus Weapon: Short Sword" for 20000 BP. It can be equipped from the workbenches in both Claire and Barry's campaign. Once equipped, it replaces the knife. Like all bonus weapons, the player will only get a C rank for the chapter if used.
The Short Sword works the same as the ordinary knife, although it has more range and attack power.
