Shotgun Shells is an item in Resident Evil 2 remake. This ammunition type is only retrievable in Leon's campaign for his shotgun, W-870.

Gameplay

Shotgun Shells are the standard ammunition used for shotguns such as the W-870. In addition, they can not only be found at various locations in the game in units of 2, 3 or 5 rounds, but also 3 shells can be crafted by combining one Gunpowder with one High-Grade Gunpowder (Yellow) or one Gunpowder (Large) and one High-Grade Gunpowder (yellow) for 5 to 6 shells.[1]

Locations

  • On the sink in the southeast corner of the Break Room (x2).
  • Safety Deposit Room:
    • Inside the locker labelled "208". Need to use the Spare Key for the "2" on the control panel (x3).
    • Inside the weapons locker at the back of the room. Need to use the Weapons Locker Key Card to open it (x4).
  • Shower Room:
    • Inside the left locker in the northeast corner of the locker room (x3).
    • Inside the right locker on the north side of the locker room. The combination is "CAP" can be found in on the white board at the room between the Operations Room & Records Room (x3).
  • On the couch in the northern seating area next to the S.T.A.R.S. office (x2).
  • On the desk on the northeast area of the S.T.A.R.S. office (x2).
  • On the metal shelves in the southeast corner of the East Storage Room (x4).
  • On the small trolley in the Firing Range's southeast corner of the target area (x4).
  • On the cabinet on the west side of the Secret Room (x3).
  • On a chair in the southeast corner of the Control Room (x2).
  • On the barrel in the southeast corner of the Workroom Lift (x3).
  • On a pile of trash at the end of the Upper Waterway's northeast tunnel (x2).
  • On the bench in the middle of the Security Room (x4).
  • On the table on the south side of the Nap Room (x3).
  • On the seats on the north side of the Lounge's main breakout area (x4).
