Silver Dagger was an elite counterterrorism unit established at some point after 2013. It was led by Captain Chris Redfield.

History

In 2013, the BSAA suffered heavy losses combating twin bioterror attacks in China's Lanshiang province, which demonstrated a need for further BSAA counterterrorism beyond rapid response. Silver Dagger was founded to investigate terrorism suspects through the extralegal use of state-of-the-art intelligence gathering software and, if an attack was deemed imminent, deal with them as a rapid response team.
