The Slide Filter (スライドフィルター Suraido firutā) is a key item in Resident Evil.

It is used on the projector in the laboratory. In the original Resident Evil, the Slide Filter was needed to actually use the projector in the Image preparation room of the laboratory, and thus uncover Albert Wesker's involvement in Umbrella. In the REmake, it is needed only to reveal a hidden passcode on the final slide.
