The lounge (談話室 Danwa-shitsu?)[1] is an area of the Spencer Mansion. It is otherwise known simply as the "lesson preparation room" (レッスン場準備室 Ressun-ba junbi-shitsu?).[2]

Description[]

It is a small room with a carpet on the middle. There is a filled fireplace with a piece of paper on a mantle above it.

In the 2002 remake, the room was redesigned to include a window, a few seats, and a few pictures. Above the fireplace is an etched, reversed map of the mansion's second floor.

Guide[]

1996[]

In either both scenarios, the player can use the Lighter on the fireplace to obtain the map of the mansion's second floor. A green herb can be found left of the fireplace.

To unlock the Lesson Space, the player must find the Helmet Key.

2002[]

In both scenarios, the player can light the fireplace. The player can then use the Wooden Mount (found inside the U-shaped corridor) on the mantle to obtain the map of the mansion's second floor. A number of herbs can be found near the door.

To unlock the Mural Corridor, the player must find the Helmet key.
