The room is brighten up by the lights from ceiling. A white coat is hanged on the hook, next to the door entry. The entire wall of the room is decorated with wallpapers. There is a small depression behind the large shelf. A bug specimen collection is located on the right side wall of the room. There is a lamp and handful of books placed on the small desk, while three pictures hang above the wall. A water tank is placed against the wall.
In the 2002 remake, the bug specimen is placed next to the door entry. A collection of fishhooks are placed on the wall, just beside the water tank. There are few boxes on the floor, below the hanging coat.
In Chris's scenario, an Ink Ribbon can be found by checking the coat.
In both scenarios, player can read the Researcher's Will that is placed on the small desk. The water tank will be filled with water, though player can to drain it by checking bug specimen collections, to find a switch. Then, the water tank can be push forward allowing space for the player to push the large shelf, thus finding a small depression containing Grenade Rounds for Jill and shells for Chris. On Arrrange mode, it will reveal the left half of the Moon Crest.
In Jill's scenario, player will find fellow S.T.A.R.S member Barry reading the Researcher's Will. Player can read the Researcher's Will afterward.
Player can collect the Fishhook and Bee specimen from each collections.
