The Researcher's private room (研究員の私室 Kenkyū-in no watashi-shitsu)[1] is an area of the Spencer Mansion.
Description
The room is brighten up by the lights from ceiling. A white coat is hanged on the hook, next to the door entry. The entire wall of the room is decorated with wallpapers. There is a small depression behind the large shelf. A bug specimen collection is located on the right side wall of the room. There is a lamp and handful of books placed on the small desk, while three pictures hang above the wall. A water tank is placed against the wall.
In the 2002 remake, the bug specimen is placed next to the door entry. A collection of fishhooks are placed on the wall, just beside the water tank. There are few boxes on the floor, below the hanging coat.

In Chris's scenario, an Ink Ribbon can be found by checking the coat.
In Jill's scenario, she will meet up with Barry inside this room.
In both scenarios, player can read the Researcher's Will that is placed on the small desk. To obtain the Wind Crest, player must solve the Bee Puzzle. As the crest is revealed, a Bee will come to life and attack the player.
