The stun gun is a small taser found in the remake of Resident Evil. A defensive weapon available only to Jill Valentine, the stun gun can only be used while the player is grappling with an enemy. It delivers a powerful electrical shock to the enemy's body, the electricity flowing through their muscles causing them to involuntarily let go of the player. Each use will drain one small battery, which the player may collect (these do not take up inventory space).
The stun gun also appears in Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles as Jill Valentine's quick time attack, which has unlimited uses. It is able to kill any zombie in one attack.
Alyssa Ashcroft also uses a similar stun gun which uses small batteries, that will give her stun gun 8 more charges. It will cause a damage of 360HP to (almost) any enemy.
Further notes
- In Resident Evil, this weapon can "Kill" zombies and kill Crimson Heads with two hits.
- Alyssa's Stun will be really useful against some Enemies such Lickers, Hunters Gamma and the Suspended boss, causing them 300% (almost 1900HP) of damage.
