The Submachine Gun is a weapon which appears in Resident Evil the Darkside Chronicles. The weapon is found scattered around in the first segment of Operation Javier. Picking it up will unlock the weapon for use later on.
The Submachine Gun is quite weak, often requiring more rounds to kill a zombie. It compensates this with its fast firing rate and a large capacity. Its stopping power is quite weak, making any enemies don't stagger often even though numerous bullets are unloaded. The stats for this weapon can be upgraded to improve its performance.
