Susumu Takaku (高久 進 takaku susumu?) was a Japanese writer who provided screenplays for a variety of shows from the 1950s through the mid 1990s. Outside of his work with Capcom's Flagship subsidiary, he was also well known for his contributions to Toei Co Ltd.'s various tokusatsu programs, particularly their long running Super Sentai franchise. He died in 2009 of acute respiratory failure.

Career[]

In 1998 he was hired by Capcom as writing support for their Flagship subsidiary, alongside fellow Toei tokusatsu writers Noboru Sugimura; Hirohisa Soda; Shōzō Uehara and Jun'ichi Miyashita, who all worked together on writing the script to the audio drama BIO HAZARD DRAMA ALBUM ~The Doomed Raccoon City~ VOL.1. Takaku later worked on the third part of the series with Sugimura and Soda.
