M4 fire selector[]

To my current knowledge, AR-15 rifles and carbines can't mechanically have four-position selectors, but since I've got a book that says otherwise, I'm making an inquiry on a firearms forum I belong to for more information. I'll update this article when I receive a reply that clarifies things. Ghost Leader

Okay, I was incorrect. There are four-position fire selectors for AR-15 rifles and carbines, but they're extremely rare and no military M16 type weapons have them. I'll make a note of it. Ghost Leader

Leon w/ M4/M203[]

The folding front sight makes it look more like a KAC SR-16 to me. Ghost Leader 08:39, October 30, 2009 (UTC)

No such thing as an M4 SOPMOD[]

Just about every M4 and M4A1 is SOPMOD kit-compatible. Contrary to what the different variants appearing in Call of Duty 4 are called, there is no distinctive "SOPMOD" variant separate from the M4 and M4A1. Ghost Leader 07:49, October 29, 2010 (UTC)

S.T.A.R.S. used it?[]

The article mentions this, citing the RE3 photograph as evidence. The photo doesn't seem to depict the weapon however; MP5's, shotguns, and an AUG (if I'm seeing it right), but no M4 type. -Orca*

I think they mean STARS from the second movie. Kornflakes89 07:15, July 16, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks, Kornflakes89; I don't know if I said that, but I did put the picture there.Kaidus 13:10, August 19, 2011 (UTC)
